Waterford St. Patrick's Day Festival
This years Waterford St. Patrick’s Day Festival will take place from the 17th – 19th March. There will be three days packed full of activities and events including the St. Patrick’s Day Parade taking place on the 17th March.
St. Patrick's Day Parade
Kicking off the three day festival is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the 17th March. The parade will be hitting the streets of Waterford city at 1pm and will be led by Grand Marshall Finn Ryan. The parade begins at the Waterford Bus Station and will proceed along the Quay, past the Clock Tower and the Plaza, moving around to the Mall.
Events
Throughout the three days of the festival there will be a fairground set up in John Roberts Square to keep everyone entertained. For the next two days following the parade there will be free music, dancing and entertainment in John Roberts Square, O’Connell Street and the Plaza Festival Stage. The final night of the festival will conclude with a fireworks display on the Quay at 9pm.
